Contact lens fitting

A contact lens fitting is for anyone who wants to start wearing contact lenses or change the ones they use: we check which type of contact lenses best suits your eyes and your daily routine, and we let you try them.

What it includes

• We check which type of contact lenses best suits your eyes.
• We take your daily routine into account: how many hours you will wear them and what for.
• You try them at the appointment.
• We show you how to put them in, take them out and look after them.
• If you need it, we suggest a check-up to see how they are working for you.

If it is your first time wearing contact lenses, do not worry: we explain each step calmly until you can put them in with ease.

How long it takes

The appointment takes about 45 minutes.

You will be seen by one of our optometrists, registered with the Colegio de Ópticos-Optometristas de la Comunitat Valenciana:

How often to come in

Even if your contact lenses are working well for you, it is a good idea to have them checked regularly. At the appointment, we tell you how often in your case. If you notice discomfort or see worse with them, do not wait for the check-up: come and see us.

What to bring

Bring your current glasses or contact lenses and, if you have it, your prescription.

We are in El Campello (Alicante), on the Costa Blanca, a stone’s throw from the sea: Avda La Mar. 19, 03560 El Campello. We have been an optician and hearing centre since 1992.
