Hearing aid fitting

A hearing aid fitting is for anyone who needs hearing aids: we fit them and adjust them to your hearing. This appointment cannot be booked on the website. It requires a hearing test first and is booked by phone, on WhatsApp or in the shop.

What it includes

• We start from the results of your hearing test.
• We explain what options you have.
• We fit and adjust your hearing aids.
• If you have questions about how to use or look after them at home, we answer them.

Before the appointment: the hearing test

The fitting starts with a hearing test, a simple test that measures how you hear different tones and volumes. It is done in our audiology booth, takes about 30 minutes and is free. It is carried out by Antonia or Carolina, so it is best to book it by phone or on WhatsApp.

If you have hearing test results from another centre, bring them: they give us a useful guide. Even so, we prefer to do our own.

Trial, warranty and brands

Before you decide, you can try them: we fit you with trial hearing aids free of charge, with the same features as the final ones, for 10 days. The trial hearing aids are only for that period.

Your hearing aids come with an extended 5-year warranty.

We work with Phonak and Interton hearing aids. If you already have hearing aids from these brands bought at another centre, we can fit them too: we have their fitting software.

How long it takes

The first appointment is the hearing test, which takes about 30 minutes. After that, one or two more visits are needed to fit your hearing aids and hand them over to you.

Who will see you

You will be seen by one of our optometrists and hearing aid specialists:

• Antonia Marco Pérez, optometrist (registration no. 5828) and hearing aid specialist.
• Carolina Duque Tavira, optometrist (registration no. 22985) and hearing aid specialist.

The fitting takes place in our audiology booth. We are a healthcare centre authorised by the Conselleria de Sanitat of the Generalitat Valenciana, under no. 1784, and a hearing aid healthcare establishment under no. 19596.

How often to come in

Hearing aids are used every day, and it is a good idea to have them checked regularly, even if they are working well. Once you wear them, you can book a hearing aid check-up on this website. If you notice you hear worse with them, that they whistle or that the battery does not last as long, do not wait: come and see us.

What to bring

If you have them, bring your hearing aids and your previous hearing test results.

We are in El Campello (Alicante), on the Costa Blanca, a stone’s throw from the sea: Avda La Mar. 19, 03560 El Campello. We have been an optician and hearing centre since 1992.
