Hearing aid check-up
Check-up, cleaning and adjustment.
A hearing aid check-up is for anyone who already wears hearing aids: we make sure they are working properly, clean them and, if needed, adjust them.
What it includes
- We make sure your hearing aids are working properly.
- We clean them.
- If needed, we adjust them.
- If you have questions about how to use, charge or look after them at home, we answer them.
If we notice that your hearing has changed, we explain it to you and suggest a hearing test.
If your hearing aids are from another centre, the check-up costs €30. To adjust them, we need the software for their brand: we have it for Phonak and Interton.
How long it takes
The appointment takes about 30 minutes.
Who will see you
You will be seen by one of our optometrists and hearing aid specialists:
- Antonia Marco Pérez, optometrist (registration no. 5828) and hearing aid specialist.
- Carolina Duque Tavira, optometrist (registration no. 22985) and hearing aid specialist.
The check-up takes place in our audiology booth. We are a healthcare centre authorised by the Conselleria de Sanitat of the Generalitat Valenciana, under no. 1784.
How often to come in
Hearing aids are used every day, and it is a good idea to have them checked regularly, even if they are working well. At the appointment, we tell you how often in your case. If you notice you hear worse with them, that they whistle or that the battery does not last as long, do not wait for the check-up: come and see us.
What to bring
Bring your hearing aids and, if you have them, their accessories and charger.
